UP’s Imaging Project team completes UPMin component

The University Imaging Project team successfully captured UP Mindanao scenes in their video production visit on campus from March 21 to 25, 2025.  The University Imaging Project is a university system-level initiative by the UP Media and Public Relations Office (MPRO) under the Office of the Vice President for Public Affairs, aimed at elevating UP’s brand and public perception. The UP MPRO team inspected UP Mindanao locations, did interviews, and captured selected scenes for use in the UP institutional video. The BS Data Science class, the Oblation Plaza, the Agipo drum ensemble at the Cultural Center, a Muslim student in sablay, and the campus Masjid were among the selected scenes. Subsequent scenes included post-graduate students studying fisheries, the Marilog Land Reservation Training Center, and a community partner. At the Sports Complex, the UP Mindanao Dance Ensemble performed excerpts as culture bearers. Finally, sports classes were captured on video, and sports students from BARMM and the Dinagat Islands were interviewed, illustrating UP’s thrust for inclusive admissions.

In the above photo, the MPRO team paid a courtesy call to Chancellor Lyre Anni Murao before their departure. In the photo are (left-right) photographer Jonathan Madrid, videographer Gilliano Salvador, director Karl Fredrick Castro, Chancellor Lyre Anni Murao, videographer Al Nikko John Nagutom, and production coordinators Roberto Eugenio, Peter Paul Vallejos, and Tomas Maglaya.
