The UP Mindanao administration celebrated the efforts of its student-athletes and performers with a testimonial dinner on April 8, 2025, at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences’ Mindanao Studies and Cultural Center. The 145 athletes and performers who competed in the Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association on 21-23 March 2024 were each awarded a certificate of recognition by Chancellor Lyre Anni Murao upon the recommendation of the Department of Human Kinetics Chairperson Asst. Prof. Jezreel Abarca.
Representatives of the athletes and the coaches were also allowed to share their thoughts through individual testimonies.
In the above photo, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Human Kinetics faculty member Assoc. Prof. Maria Stella Salazar led the ceremonial toast culminating the dinner.
After the dinner, Asst. Prof. Abarca held a briefing for the selected athletes who will represent the Davao Region at the National SCUAA Championships to be held on Camiguin Island from April 22 to 26, 2025.
