
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) organized a wellness program for UP Mindanao personnel during the slower months between academic years. Taking advantage of the lull in university operations, the OSA offered aerobics and taekwondo martial arts for personnel every Friday at the Civil Service Commission-appointed wellness period at 3:00 pm.
Beginning July 4, university personnel convened at the Administration Building Atrium to engage in their chosen wellness activity. A bigger number participated in the aerobics exercises, as compared to the taekwondo, which had a smaller but equally enthusiastic cohort.
The aerobics cohort moved through the routines with vigor, accompanied by enlivening music. The taekwondo group, nearby, adopted intense concentration in going through the self-defense movements.
Aerobics coach Ms. Cheerie A. Enerio and taekwondo coach Mr. Latrell Andre Dennis Pantastico led the respective events.
