The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), through its Branch Manager Oscar Paul B. Fortuna, issued a Certificate of Appreciation to UP Mindanao for being one of GSIS’ “Bida ng Ahensya.” This is in recognition of UP Mindanao’s commitment to timely premium payment for the GSIS members among its employees.
According to the GSIS statement, “This performance and dedication to compliance by UP Mindanao reflects the agency’s professionalism and integrity, and for setting a standard for other agencies to follow.”
The certificate was issued on March 24, 2026, in Davao City, and received by Chief Accountant Zenaida Calatrava, Accounting Administrative Assistant Meliza Bakong, and HRDO Administrative Officer Annie Dismas.
The team endorsed the certificate to Vice Chancellor for Administration Leo Manuel Estaña, who, in turn, presented it to Chancellor Lyre Anni Murao at the Office of the Chancellor on the same day.
