Members of the UP Mindanao Disciplinary Committee took the “Training of the Disciplinary Committee Members Per Constituent Universities Pursuant to the Approved Revised Rules on the Administrative Cases of Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel,” held in UP Cebu on March 19-21, 2025.
The training was held to ensure that members of the constituent university disciplinary committees are well-equipped to implement the Revised Rules that were approved by the UP Board of Regents at its 1394th Meeting, held on October 29, 2024.
The training was conducted by the Office of the Vice President for Legal Affairs in partnership with the UP Law Center-Institute of Government and Law Reform.
The training covered an introduction to due process requirements in administrative proceedings, the presentation of the revised rules in administrative cases, the interpretation and application of administrative fines and penalties in Civil Service cases, tips in handling conflict resolution, and a workshop.
