The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) has acquired the services of a physician to meet the medical needs of UPMin students and personnel.
“Please be advised that our Health Services Physician is now available for consultations,” stated Associate Professor Ligaya R. Leal, OSA director, in her memo. “Walk-ins are welcome. Our nurses will implement a triaging system to prioritize urgency for medical attention,” she stated.
The physician is Maria Fatima “Dra. Patchie” Manuel, MD, an alumna and new faculty member of the Department of Biological Science and Environmental Studies.
The regular schedule of consultation is Tuesday and Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Elias B. Lopez Hall Dormitory, and is free of charge.
