With the recent release of the UPCAT 2025 results, young persons and their family members have begun to show up at the UP Mindanao campus to visit the Office of the University Registrar and start the admission process.
One such visitor was Ranilo Malong Jr., pictured above, who came accompanied by his father, Ranilo Sr., and family members. Ranilo is from the Tandag National Science High School and has been accepted to the UP Mindanao BS Biology program. When asked whether he plans to become a doctor or scientist, his father volunteered the reply, “Scientist siguro.”
Another campus visitor was John Lloyd Pio Jawod, pictured below, from Mlang, North Cotabato, who came with his mother. John Lloyd is waitlisted for the architecture program and looks forward to admission.
These were the two sets of visitors encountered by the PR unit in its random visit to the Registrar’s service window on April 25, 2025, at 8:30 am..
