UP Mindanao’s Incident Command System (ICS) applied enhanced observation and documentation in the conduct of the 4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held on November 6, 2025. The ICS members held a meeting on November 5, 2025, in preparation for the drill, with the instrument developed by the UP Resilience Institute. Engineers and architects from the Campus Planning Office who were deployed as enumerators used this UP RI instrument to document the actual drill. The drill lasted a total of nine minutes from the alarm to the head count and issuance of the “All-clear” order. The ICS team held a debriefing at the end of the drill, and their observations and recommendations were conveyed to the Management Committee in its next meeting on November 10, 2025.
