UP Mindanao Chancellor Prof. Lyre Anni Murao, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Associate Prof. Maria Stella Salazar, and Quality Assurance Director Assoc. Prof. Ritchie Mae Gamot joined fellow UP officials at the ASEAN Universities Network-Quality Assurance International Conference (AUN-QA IC) 2025 held at Universiti Malaya from November 5 to 7, 2025.
The AUN-QA IC 2025 was held on the theme “Fortifying Higher Education: Strategic QA for Resilience and Institutional Immunity in ASEAN.” It brought together higher education professionals from ASEAN and around the world, “to exchange best practices, discuss emerging trends, and strengthen regional collaboration in quality assurance.”
From Nov. 5 and 6 was the main AUN-QA International Conference, which was open to the public. Also on Nov. 6 was the AUN-QA Assessors’ General Assembly, and on Nov. 7 was the AUN-QA Chief Quality Officers’ Meeting.
