UP Mindanao personnel welcomed the benefits offered and sought additional opportunities at the Orientation on the National Healthcare Shield for Government Agency Healthcare Plan, held at the Administration Building on October 24, 2025.
This program was developed in line with Executive Order No. 64, Series of 2024, which entitles government employees to a medical allowance of up to Php 7,000.00 per annum. This allowance may be used to avail of a Health Maintenance Plan (HMP) to help ensure better access to healthcare services.
Representatives of the Kaiser International Health Group, Inc., a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), facilitated the Orientation, which was organized by the Human Resource Development Office and the Office of Student Affairs.
