The Book Talk contest entries are 2- to 3-minute videos promoting books, and Book Face contest recreates book covers, which were among the events held in celebration of National Book Week. Chancellor Murao Lyre did the honor of giving the award to the winner.

The top book borrower among students in Calendar Year 2025 was Clint Delima of the BA English program; among faculty members, it was a tie between Atty. Marvin Doods de Castro and Assoc. Prof. Maria Stella Salazar, both of whom were not present. All winners can still claim their prizes at the University Library.
Librarian Dequito expressed gratitude to the university management for their support for the Library’s DIVE-Tuki initiative, an acronym for Database Instruction and Value Exploration, and “tuki,” a Visayan word meaning “to unravel.” She reported that some 12 classes, encouraged by their respective department chairs, learned the Library’s DIVE-Tuki.
