2023 021323 ALVIOLA PIDS

Prof. Pedro "Pete" A. Alviola IV of the School of Management was appointed to the Editorial Board of the Philippine Journal of Development, the journal of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS). Prof. Alviola was appointed as an Associate Editor for 2022-2026.

PIDS is the Philippines' source of policy research and advice for the formulation of development plans and policies and to enable informed public discourse in the country.

"I'm pleased with this appointment as the Journal is one of the top policy journals in SE Asia," said Prof. Alviola. "Also, being in a position, albeit small, to impact the quality and rigor of papers that will likely drive policymaking in our country is also another plus factor that I look forward to doing," he said.
